Foodie Camp is a Preddy PR original concept for its client, Naples Originals. Foodie Camp is a two-week-long series of cooking classes in the chef-led local, independent restaurants of Naples Originals. The event sells out every year, garners headlines and benefits local charities.
Working closely with The Aielli Group, Preddy PR managed all marketing for its restaurants Sea Salt, Barbatella, and Sea Salt St. Pete, further establishing them as the leading culinary destinations in their regions.
The Buccaneer resort on St. Croix in the USVI was a Preddy PR client for two decades. Beth Preddy utilized her deep experience in travel and hospitality marketing to secure publicity, plan and implement promotions and stage events.
Naples Originals is an association of local, independent restaurants and a long-time Preddy PR client. We develop promotions, such as the popular annual Foodie Camp cooking series and thr Palette to Palate restaurant and artist collaboration. Our strategies also include email marketing and publicity, and we manage quarterly gift certificate sales for the group.
The inaugural NaplesNEXT Ideas Festival benefitted from Preddy PR’s extensive publicity campaign for its 2019 launch. The event became the buzz of the town with widespread broadcast and print exposure, as well as a social media campaign. Preddy PR captured front-page headlines from earned media, and worked with marketing partners and sponsors on additional exposure.
Preddy PR guided the owners of Osteria Tulia through the pre-opening, grand opening and ongoing marketing phases of the new 5th Avenue South restaurant in Naples. Preddy employed a full battalion of strategies that made the restaurant the most anticipated opening of the season and beyond.
Preddy PR’s campaign for Longevity Solutions Inc. includes launching the brand with a comprehensive marketing mix of advertising, events, publicity, social media, and email marketing. The effort involved a deep immersion into the company’s complex medical approach to transate it into layman’s terms. Within six months, Longevity has garnered headline publicity and become a household name within its corporate and high-end residential markets.
Naples’ legendary chef Tony Ridgway engaged with Preddy PR to improve the stature of its restaurant, Terra. Preddy rebranded the restaurant Ridgway Bar & Grill and publicized Tony Ridgway as taking the reins of the kitchen to remake its culinary approach. The strategy built on the chef’s 30-year history of helming the area’s best restaurants. Twenty years later, the restaurant is known as a pioneer in Naples’ dining scene, with Tony Ridgway recognized as the godfather of Naples’ restaurants.
Crayton Cove is a waterside village in Old Naples comprised of art galleries, restaurants and retailers. The destination required coordinated management and marketing to lose its “off the beaten path” character. Preddy PR formed and managed the business association, created numerous promotions for the area, and secured all-important wayfarer street signage throughout Naples. The association disbanded due to unexpected demolition and construction of cornerstone buildings after a successful five years of operation.
Chez Boet French Home Bistro is a beloved destination restaurant in Old Naples with a nearly 20 years of operation. It was previously known as Bamboo Cafe, causing confusion about the style of cuisine, Preddy PR counseled the owners to change the name of the restaurant to reflect their hands-on, daily management, which imbues the restaurant with their distinct personalities and home-like ambiance. The rebranding immediately paid dividends and the owners are now expanding the Boet brand to a travel company and online boutique. Preddy PR created and maintains the website ChezBoetNaples.com
